Anti Ragging Committee

ANTI-RAGGING COMMITTEE

With reference to UGC regulation on “curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Education Institution, 2009” . The P.K. University, Shivpuri (M.P.) has reconstituted the Anti-Ragging Committee.

Ragging is strictly banned in P.K. University. If anybody found indulged in such kind of activities, strict action will be taken irrespective of the extent. Ragging is banned by Supreme Court of India. In order to prevent such kind of activity in campus, an Anti–Ragging Committee has been formed and brought into operation even before the start of 1st year classes by the Head of the Departments.

This committee will have vigil, oversight and patrolling functions. It will be mobile, alert and active at all times and is empowered to periodically inspect places of potential ragging. The committee shall investigate incidents of ragging, make recommendations to the department level Anti-ragging committee and shall work under the overall guidance of the Anti-ragging committee of the University. All members are requested to take note of the same and co-operate in maintaining conducive academic atmosphere for our students both in the University & hostel premises.

Member Appointments: The Panel of Director (Admin.), Vice Chancellor and Registrar, makes all appointments.

Tenure of the Member: One Year

A campus level Anti Ragging Committee has been constituted with the following members:
